WE HAVE INTERNET!!!

It was a long 5 years without being connected to the rest of the world through the normal channel of "the internets" but it's good to be back. This will be a short post but I will continue to post updates on happenings back in the hills.

A few things will be added like worthwhile pictures and video. I'm looking forward to using my new DSLR camera to give a little better content.

This is Padme. She was named after a character is Star Wars. After she was born to a previous cat Hershey, she has become another member of the family. She has been here for three years. She is able to take care of most rodents that may find their way to our yard. Which is handy when you live as far off of the beaten path as we do.


I love to cook. I also love to cook outdoors. This is the setup for my outdoor kitchen. I have owned several grills but this is my first venture into the world of charcoal. I have learned it is a lot of fun and taste great but can be very time consuming and you usually end up smelling like smoke. Either way I love to cook in my outdoor kitchen. My dad and I made the tables. The grill and the smoker both came from Home Depot. It's a great place to spend and evening preparing for a meal.


That's going to be all for tonight. I'm just basking in the fact we have internet again.
